I finished this skirt for a friends daughter, 7 years old. Originally she wanted orange, but her mom convinced her to go with fuschia. They were certain on one thing: No light pink! And out of that, this skirt was born. It is a fuschia satin waist band, the first tier is also fuschia. The second tier is one block of fuschia, one block of teal and one block of apple green. The ruffles are fuschia, apple, teal, and yellow thrown in for fun. I think it turned out awesome! I hadn't done anything this crazy before, but WOW. SO much fun!!! I am also finishing up a solid black skirt for Michelle (Down the Lane Photography) and another surprise for her. :) Again, so close to finishing! I also have a chocolate brown skirt ready, just needs ruffles. I cut out light blue to put on, but I am still debating putting light pink on instead. I just don't know......
